In Touch with your Voice

Using the sound of your voice is a beautiful way to express what touches you in life. You can also be touched by the voices of other people. In this 2-day workshop, we will explore the voice in the dynamics of impression and expression. How can you be in contact with what touches you? And how can sensations and emotions be expressed through your voice?

In this workshop, we create space for the individual voice in all its colors. We see the voice as a creative tool for self-expression. We want to connect the voice, the body and the soul.  Each day there will be a warm-up and space for improvisation and group exploration of each voice - reflecting the topic of touch in different ways.

This workshop is open to everyone with or without experience.

Teachers: Mariane Siem (DK) and Hélène Asso (FR)
Mariane and Hélène have been been giving workshops together for some years and they both teach in the tradition of the Roy Hart Voice Center.
Mariane is a voice teacher, dramaturg and speech therapist. She works as a storyteller for children in her own theatre group Aktanten and is a voice teacher at Den Danske Scenekunstskole.
Hélène is a music therapist and psychotherapist. She has been giving courses and leading “Voice and Movement” workshops for several years.

Teaching language: English – with the possibility of English to Danish translation.
